Greetings, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Families!

We’re busy preparing for the start of the 2024-25 school year – readying buildings and grounds, participating in professional development to enhance our students’ learning experiences, and ensuring we have the right staff in place.

We will launch our back-to-school website later this month. There, you will be able to find all the information you need about the start of the new school year – everything from transportation information to immunization information to the free and reduced-priced meal application to information about afterschool care.

Please mark your calendars for our Open House events. Check with your schools for specific times.

     Elementary and Pre-K-8 Schools – Thursday, Aug. 22
     Middle Schools – Wednesday, Aug. 21
     High Schools – Tuesday, Aug. 20
